2000

Boston Freedom Award: Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and Coretta Scott King presented the Boston Freedom Award to AASG co-founder and president, Dr. Charles Jacobs, on September 18, 2000.

2002

Fast 50 Champion of Innovation: AASG was honored as a Fast 50 Champion of Innovation for its website, iAbolish.org, which uses cutting edge technology for online activism in March 2002.

2004

National Multicultural Institute: AASG was presented with an award by the National Multicultural Institute for its “groundbreaking work and dedication to abolishing slavery worldwide,” on April 29, 2004.

Station Master Award: AASG was honored with the Station Masters Award at the 7th annual “Lady of Freedom Monument Foundation” award banquet on October 12, 2004.
